A white christmas in Idaho

We just got back earlier this week from Idaho. We had so much fun it was really hard to come back. I also got to see my new nephew Boston and Sofie got to play with all her cousins on both sides. We spent Christmas in Jackson Hole where we went snowboarding with all of Spencer's family. It had snowed all night before so there was so much powder, it was soooo fun. - Thanks G&G herring-

On Christmas Sofie opened her tickle me Elmo, but before we left Ohio she got a little dog purse from Grandma and Grandpa Swendsen that she couldn't put down and she had to sleep with it that night- I think it was more of a hit than the tickle me Elmo. She also got a Winnie the Pooh doll from her Aunt Lisa that she wouldn't put down even to eat. She would get so mad if I tried to take it away.

We also went on a sleigh ride at the elk refuge. It was cool that we could get so close the the elk and they didn't even budge, totally a different experience then when you are hunting them :).

When we got home we celebrated Spencer's 29th Birthday. Spencer's sister's kids love having birthday parties so they planned and threw a really fun party for Spencer- they are so stinking cute. We also went sledding. Sofie had so much fun in the snow she would get mad when I would try to pick her up. Now it is back to the grind in Ohio. Sofie has been so fussy since we got home. I think she misses all of her aunts, uncles and grandparents playing with her. Thanks everyone for the fun time!!!
